The Senior Band has has a current membership of about thirteen players. Although this is small for a brass band their dedication and commitment has allowed us to continue with our engagements and to retain our identity at the heart of the city.
We continue to have a busy performance schedule especially during the summer and at Christmas. Among our favourites in the last couple of years are those which support the life of Portsmouth and it surrounding area, like celebrating the launch of our new inshore lifeboats, entertaining visitors to the area at Canoe Lake on summer evenings, and entertaining weary sponsored walkers at 2am alongside HMS Victory in support of Rowans Hospice!
